Submitting a bid
Each sponsorship area is a separate auction. Each new bid must be at least $250 higher than the current price — you may bid more than that minimum to jump ahead of other bidders. By submitting, you confirm that the company information is accurate and that the bid represents genuine sponsorship interest.
Public information
Your company name, website and bid amount appear publicly in the relevant placement's history. Your work email and contact number are both kept private and used only to contact you about the auction — neither is ever shown on the site.
Leading bidders
When the auction ends with the $95,000 target met or exceeded, I will contact each leading bidder directly, at the email address provided, to confirm the sponsorship, artwork, schedule and commercial details. No payment or card information is collected through this website.
If the target isn’t reached
This project only goes ahead if total bids reach the $95,000 target by the auction’s end date. If the target isn’t reached, no sponsorship is finalized: no leading bidder is charged, no artwork is installed, and I’ll email every bidder to explain what’s next, which may mean extending the auction, adjusting the target, or canceling it outright. A bid is a commitment to sponsor, not a payment — nothing is collected unless and until the target is met and I’ve confirmed your placement directly.
Content approval
Sponsorship artwork, company identity and customization remain subject to approval and applicable law. I may remove unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive or obviously fraudulent submissions.
Sponsorship term
Each winning placement runs for 12 months from the date its artwork is installed on the car — not from the date the auction closes, since final artwork, fabrication and installation happen afterward. This is a defined exhibition period, not permanent or lifetime branding. When a placement’s term ends, that area may be reopened for a new auction rather than automatically renewed.
If the car is sold or written off
Placements are tied to this specific car, not to me as an owner. If the car is sold, totaled, or needs bodywork that removes a placement, that sponsorship ends immediately, however much of its 12-month term remains. Bids are non-refundable: the price reflects a real car in everyday use — with the ordinary risks that come with that — not an insured guarantee of a full term.
